About our Indianapolis flooring contractor business

From finishing concrete to coating floors
I spent years pouring and finishing concrete for other outfits before I switched to floor coatings. Finishing taught me how a slab behaves. Working alongside a coatings installer taught me how fast a bad slab ruins a good product. I started Landmark Epoxy Flooring of Indianapolis in 2023 around that lesson, and we've been at it for three years now.
Most of our calls are garage and basement floors, from homeowners, property managers and small business owners around Indianapolis. When a floor lets go, it's usually the concrete or the work done to it, not the coating. So I look at your slab myself and tell you what it needs, even when the answer is repair work first. You can see the floors we do on our home page, or get in touch and I'll come take a look.
What you get when we work on your floor
These are the things you'll notice from the first visit to the last coat, and they all come back to one idea. A floor coating is only as good as the slab under it.
We check your slab before we sell you anything
I look for cracks, damp spots and old coatings before I write the estimate, so the floor you get suits the slab you actually have. Prep is usually the bulk of the job, so what I find there is what moves your price.
A straight answer when your floor isn't ready
If your concrete needs repair or an old coating stripped first, I'll tell you, even when that means a smaller job for us. Coating over a problem just means a peeling floor later, and I'd rather have that talk now.
The same person from estimate to finish
I come out, look at the floor and write the estimate myself, so there's no salesman handing you off to someone else. Our crew does the work, and I'm on the job with them.
Licensing and insurance for floor work here
Licensed and fully insured
We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. It's the first thing you should ask any crew that's going to grind and coat inside your garage, basement or shop.
City contractor listing and permits
Indianapolis requires anyone doing construction work in the city to be a listed contractor, and its Department of Business and Neighborhood Services handles those listings, permits and inspections. Before work starts, we check with the right office for your address, and if a permit is needed we pull it ourselves.
