Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Landmark Epoxy Flooring of Indianapolis for work at your home or business. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them.
If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can always go back to our home page to read about our services before deciding anything.
The services we provide
Landmark Epoxy Flooring of Indianapolis is a flooring contractor in Indianapolis, IN. We coat, finish, repair and prepare concrete floors for homeowners and businesses in Indianapolis and the cities around it.
Our work includes epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic epoxy and urethane cement floors, garage and basement floors, polished, stained and terrazzo floors, concrete grinding and surface preparation, sealing, resurfacing and overlays, self-leveling concrete, pool deck coatings, and floor stripping and removal. The website describes these services in general terms, and the exact work on your job is the work written in your estimate or agreement.
You can read more about who we are on our about page.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and there's no pressure to book. Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, such as the size of the floor, the condition of the concrete, any old coating or sealer, cracks and damage, and the system and finish you choose.
Prices in a written estimate hold for the period stated in that estimate. Any prices, examples or ranges on the website are general information and are not an offer or a quote for your job.
Sometimes we find a problem only after the floor is open, like a failing old coating, moisture coming up through the slab or damage under the surface. When that happens, we stop, show you what we found and give you the added cost in writing, and we don't do extra work until you approve it.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We schedule your job once you accept the estimate. Start and finish dates can shift with temperature and humidity, because coatings and overlays need the right conditions to cure, and with what we find in the concrete once prep begins.
You agree to give our crew access to the work area, clear the space of vehicles and belongings as agreed, and keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor until we tell you it's ready. Using the floor too early can damage the finish, and that damage isn't covered by our guarantee.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (317) 429-4446 or reach us through our contact page as soon as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or started work, you're responsible for those costs as stated in your agreement.
We may reschedule for weather, safety concerns, illness or other things outside our control, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
Payment terms
The amount you owe, any deposit, the payment schedule and the payment methods we accept are set out in your estimate or written agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, final payment is due when the work is complete.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's paid. You're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance where Indiana law allows it.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee, so if something isn't right with the job, call us and we'll come look at it. Any specific warranty for your floor is the one written in your agreement, and nothing on this website adds to it.
Apart from that written guarantee or warranty, and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Our guarantee doesn't cover problems caused by conditions in the concrete we couldn't detect before the work, such as moisture or vapor coming up through the slab, settling, structural movement or new cracks in the slab.
It also doesn't cover damage from misuse, impacts, dragging heavy items, chemicals or heat beyond what the product is made to handle, normal wear, skipping the care instructions we give you, or work done by anyone else on the floor.
Colors and patterns can differ from samples, photos and other floors, especially with metallic, stained and polished finishes, because every slab takes a finish a little differently. That variation is part of these floors and isn't a defect.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and fully insured. To the fullest extent Indiana law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a garage or shop, lost business or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
The information on this website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and current, but it's general information and not advice about your particular floor, which we can only give after seeing it.
If we disagree about the work
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first and give us a fair chance to fix it, because most issues get settled with a visit and a conversation. We'll both try in good faith to resolve it directly.
If we can't settle it ourselves, we'll both consider mediation before going to court. Any court case connected to these terms or our work will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Marion County, Indiana.
Governing law
These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the current one. Changes apply from the time we post them, but the terms in place when you signed your agreement still apply to that job.
If you have a question about these terms, call (317) 429-4446 or send us a message through our contact page.
